Began only 12 years ago, the MADI museum was founded by Bill and Dorothy Masterson as a way to give back to the community who supported his firm, Kilgore & Kilgore, for many years. Fascinated with the geometric art form the Masterson’s travelled the world collecting every piece they could. Ultimately spending time with the movement’s founder Carmelo Arden Quinn, the MADI art movement is best represented inside this museum and grows with their continuing outreach. Today through artists from the movement encouraging younger artists to adopt the MADI mentality the art and the movement is represented internationally.
